On love, computers, life and all they entail

This entry is going to be very different from the entry I thought I'd write.

This morning I accidentally spilled a glass of juice on my laptop in a residual Friday the 13th patch of bad luck. Apparently computers don't like juice all that much and the screen that had already been ailing (there were weird 1 pixel wide vertical lines all over it) died with a few final flickers.
Luckily I was waiting to get J's old MacBook anyway, so I didn't really have to be computer-less at all. This whole juice meets laptop incident completely derailed my train of thought and I don't think the entry I was going to write about love and Disney (I've been listening to a lot of Disney love songs lately) will make it to the station.

I had thought I'd take a photo of my Valentine's Rag Pets to grace this entry, but getting them sewn and stuffed took longer than I expected and poor dears are still waiting for their clothes! So instead, here's a photo of some of my favourite things: my "pin bird" which was a gift from Japan from a friend, my handy little foldaway scissors (that are actually the pin bird's tail), my favourite sewing needle on the felt heart and some pretty red vintage buttons that were a grift from a friend too.

Today was a reminder that life isn't always predictable and that's just one of the things there is to love abut life, not knowing what the future holds.
