Maggie the rag-cat
It's been much too long since I finished a Rag Pet, so I'm pleased to introduce to you Maggie the rag-cat, who had been in progress for a while now, patiently waiting to be clothed.
Maggie likes slow afternoons when she can just listen to music and read and just relax for a bit. Sundays are her favourite, especially when the weather is nice and she can go outside to simply sit in a park and enjoy the day her way.
Maggie is made from fun nobbly, toffee coloured wool and she's stuffed with rags and polyfill. She has safety eyes, an embroidered nose, blushy cheeks and a plastic button for a bellybutton.
Maggie is wearing a black and grey stripy tricot long sleeved T-shirt with pleats on the front that closes in back with a snap and a yellow and white polka-dotted skirt that also closes with a snap in the back. Maggie's skirt fabric was actually the wrapping for some other fabric I bought from Tokyo Textiles. Then, serendipitously, in the jumble of my fabrics, I happened to have the stripy jersey of Maggie's top next to it, and I thought that they'd make a really super outfit together, and thus, the idea for Maggie was born!
Maggie the rag-cat is available in the Rag Pet Shop, should you want to spend your lazy afternoons in her stellar company. :)

I really like her knobbly wool and the stripe too.
